Moriah Necia Jay:
I live in the semi-deserts of Idaho right now with my husband and two kids and a long list of animals.
I am a great believer in believing. I know it is hard to do every second of every day, but if you believe in yourself on the average number of days, and give credit to the One who blessed you with your talents, I know you will find your path.
When I was little they told me I would never graduate from school and never amount to anything. I think that’s ridiculous coming from people who were supposed to help me graduate and amount to something. Thankfully an English reading teacher decided she was not going to give up on me. I could have listened to the majority, but the truth is you only fail if you stop trying and I am too stubborn to stop trying.
I lived in the woods on the side of a mountain in Washington state before moving here, and thought I don’t miss those cruel teachers, I do really miss how everything was alive and growing. This area of Idaho has it’s charms too though, like really good people. Idaho also has horses. I love horses and… all animals really, plus forests, warm summer nights with full moons, popcorn, growing things, dancing in the rain, reading, writing, weaving, making jewelry and clothes, dying my hair crazy colors, my LDS church, tanning leather/furs, learning new things, talking about old things, Cherokee (the language & legends), painting, sculpting, carving, glass blowing, archery, forging/smithing, awesome wooden quills that look like little wands, natural things, and cake made in a waffle iron… I just love a lot of cool things.
And I really love stories.
